The Romanian Doctors Orchestra was founded in 1954 by Ermil Nichifor (see wikipedia-Link). In 2004 it cooperated for the very first recital of the European Doctors Orchestra in the Atheneum in Bucharest.
Tahdistin-orkesteri is an amateur orchestra operating in Kuopio. The orchestra operates under its own association (Tahdistin ry) and includes both medical scientists and Kuopio music enthusiasts from different backgrounds.
The pilot project Doc´s Arts is starting June 2022 in Goslar / Germany and this idea has matured for 15 years. Anke Jacobs (Internal medicine) is also culture manager and was coordinating festivals before she studied medicine.
