The Fischerstube Brewery AG is a Swiss brewery headquartered in Basel. It produces beer under the brand name "Ueli Bier." In 1974, the physician Hans-Jakob Nidecker (1919–2005)[4] acquired the Fischerstube restaurant at Rheingasse 45 in Kleinbasel, which had stood vacant for several years, in order to revive the local economy.
