The Poznan Doctors Chamber Choir

Poznan Doctors Chamber Choir was created in October 2010 by Elżbieta Czechowska, haemathologist form Piła. In great majority it is formed by doctors which choral music is a real passion. Also sings people with professions connected to medicine. The group is working on wide repertoire from Renaissance to nowadays choral music including pop songs.

Poznan Doctors Chamber Choir was created in October 2010 by Elżbieta Czechowska, haemathologist form Piła. In great majority it is formed by doctors which choral music is a real passion. Also sings people with professions connected to medicine. The group is working on wide repertoire from Renaissance to nowadays choral music including pop songs.

In February 2012 the Choir took its first reward on The 2nd International Choral Competition in Gdansk – there was to Bronze Diplomas in categories: mixed choirs and chamber choirs.

In August 2011 The Poznan Doctors’ Chamber Choir took part in ‘Balkan Folk Fest’, a festival of Balkan culture in Kiten and gave concerts in Bulgaria.

Poznan Doctors Chamber Choir organized The 1st Polish Festival of Doctors Choirs in Ostrów Wielkopolski, which took time from 20th to 23rd of September 2012 and was finished by The 3rd Polish Doctors Concert. The Festival participants are doctors’ choirs from Białystok, Katowice, Olsztyn, Szczecin, Warsaw and Poznań.

Poznan Doctors Chamber Choir is conducted by Justyna Chelminska, a doctor of medicine and choral conductor.
