The Connecticut Doctors Orchestra

Established in November 2008, The Connecticut Doctors’ Orchestra (CDO) is comprised of a group of health care and medical science professionals who love music and wish to share music with the community.

Most of its members are physicians, dentists, advance practice nurses, biomedical scientists, and medical and dental students making it one of the nation’s few orchestras whose musicians work in the health field. The mission of the CDO is to provide excellent musical experiences and fellowship for its members, to contribute culturally to the community, and to help publicize and facilitate contributions to medically related charities through our concerts. Co-founded by Latha Dulipsingh, MD and Karen Blank, MD, the CDO’ s musicians are health care professionals from Hartford Healthcare, Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, UConn School of Medicine, the HOCC, private practices, and CCSU.
