Born December 1948. As child he danced in a ballet company with yearly performances in TV.  He was figureskating with “Rollschuhen” in Hamburg, he took singing lessons and became active as actor. Later he was directing theatre productions. He writes mainly children books and also makes the illustrations for them. He got a prize for the translation of a dutch book. Grégoire Solotareff (* 8. August 1953 in Alexandria) is a french author and illustrator of childrens books.

Primarily he had been working as medical doctor. In 1997 he got a German youth literature prize for “Du groß, und ich klein”.

Grégoire Solotareff (* 8. August 1953 in Alexandria) ist ein französischer Autor und Illustrator von Kinderbüchern.

Solotareff war zuerst als Arzt tätig und lebt zurzeit in Paris. Im Jahre 1997 erhielt er den Deutschen Jugendliteraturpreis für das Buch Du groß, und ich klein. Auf Deutsch sind nur einige seiner Werke erschienen, u. a. auch das Kleine Museum, in dem knapp 150 Ausschnitte aus Gemälden Begriffe von Adler bis Zylinder zeigen. In his time as medical student ans assistant doctor Rehbach still had time for his artistic ambitions. Georg Brenninger and Emil Krieger were supporting him at the Munich Art Academy. He got further impulses from the Phantastic Realism of the Vienna School – Ernst Fuchs and Aric Brauer were protagonists here. The highlights of Hans and Marlis Suter’s extensive collection of 20th century Swiss art are the paintings, drawings, graphics and plastics by artists from the Bern area with an emphasis on Thun and the area of Lake Thun. The Collection is beautifully displayed in an old Patrician House in magnificent surroundings. Donald von Frankenberg und Ludwigsdorff  was born in Stuttgart in 1951.He derives from an old needle gender and is son of the racer Richard von Frankenberg with Edith Neumann.He studied philosophy and history and medicine which he practised since 1982. From 1993 on he studied graphics and arts at the Muthesius Kunsthochschule in Kiel andis a free lance artist since 1996.
