Triggered by the passion for arts by his father and grandfather Ulrich Seifert joined the Ingelheimer Malkreis (Ingelheim arts circle) in 1993 thru 1995 and participated in exhibitions. When the medical orchestra Mainz was founded in the 60-ies it consisted exclusively of medical staff and students. Since they got jobs in other hospitals astray the orchestra ceased to exist – and was re-founded in 1981. Being completed from other faculties of the University it grew well since then.
